Alessia's POV

I gasped as the knife struck in my stomach and the poison started to do its work.

What they had no idea was that I could stall for one hour max. That's how hard I had trained

I tried to mind link Ezekiel but his side seems to be closed.

“Shit” I cursed as the rogues came out of their hiding spot and started circling me.

I moved on my four paws. When the person from my right side attacked me, I dodged him and rammed straight into another rogue, taking him with me. I bit him on his shoulder, pulling out a chunk of his skin. He screamed in agony as I scratched him raw.

By then the other three were already into me. They hit me from behind.

I turned around without making any painful sound as that would only make them gloat. They looked to see whether I was hurt or not.

I saw how their eyes moved from each other.

They were working for the poison to work. I smirked inwardly. It was going to be a long night.
