She was stuffing her bag however Dustin and Amy were sitting on the bed.
“Hazel. I am so sorry.” Amy had a grim expression on her face.
“It’s ok Amy. The trip was maybe not meant for me.” She said with a sad smile. “Can you bring my toothbrush from the bathroom?” She asked Amy and then started putting her headphones in her handbag.
“I should have stayed with you, Hazel.” Dustin said while looking down staring at the floor feeling guilty.
“No Dustin. You did your best and you are not my babysitter. Relax! I enjoyed it here. Thanks for bringing me for the experience.”
“Here take this.” Amy handed over the toothbrush and headed towards the door. “I would ask someone to pack you a sandwich.”
She closed the door behind her. Dustin stood and came to hug her. She smiled while hugging him back.
“Dustin. Please don’t change.” She did not know why so many tears started slipping on her face. Dustin tilted back his head to look at her.
