Ezra POV

From my peripheral vision, I saw a wide smile grace Annabelle’s face as she drew the chair out and sat down on it, making herself comfortable, “Thank you so much,”

She looked like she belonged in it. I shook such thoughts out of my head and called the maid to dish her food, hoping that once she starts eating she would keep quiet and I won’t have to hear her speak again. After her food was brought, she also began to eat and silence descended but it seems like she did not like it.

She must also have observed that I was in no mood to speak with her because she focused all of her attention on the boys and began to ask them how they were.

Alex who seemed to have warmed up to her, answered all her questions but Dani, who was more introverted and found it difficult to interact with people, didn't flow with her as much. He took part in the conversation though, only making a few statements, and that was it.

I wanted to snap at her to shut the hell up and remind the boys that there

MeluciaWhen I woke up, the first thing I felt was softness under my body and I relaxed on it and tried to go back to sleep but with the pressure in my bladder and the way my head was pounding, I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep peacefully. My mouth tasted bitter, and bits of dried leaves clung to the corners of my lips. My throat was so dry it hurt to swallow. I blinked a few times until my eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room.I felt another presence in the room and turned my head slightly. There was someone sitting at the edge of the bed. At first her face was blurry. I blinked a few times until my vision cleared. “Mimi?” My voice cracked as I recognized her.She snapped out of wherever haze she was in and her eyes widened in surprise before they filled with tears of joy.“Oh, goodness gracious, you’re finally awake, Anna,”“Yeah,” I croaked out through my dry throat. I turned my head to look at whatever part of the room I could see from where I was lying down. “Where am I?

  • Alpha Ezra’s Little Witch   Their judgment

Melucia I tried to still push my luck if I could teleport to where Ezra was and end things once and for all but I couldn’t move. Take his life just like I knew The Speakers would take mine. There was no second chance or forgiveness with them. Only destruction and death. The silence that followed after their descent weighed heavily upon all of us. Too heavy to bear that the wind stopped moving, the leaves hung still on their branches, and even the birds remained frozen midair. The air felt charged with tension and horror, as if the entire forest was waiting for something dreadful to happen. Then the voices came. They did not come from one person. They did not come from seven separate figures either. They rose together, layered upon one another until they sounded like a single voice multiplied a hundred times over. The sound was deep, powerful, echoing in every direction at once. Their words slipped into my ears and rattled me down to my bones.“Melucia Draxler of the Drax Coven, now w

  • Alpha Ezra’s Little Witch   The speakers

Melucia Just as I lifted my hands, my mouth opened to chant a spell, the sun vanished. The clouds thickened rapidly, shifting the sky from clear blue to open darkness in a matter of seconds. A faint rumble of thunder echoed in the distance before the sky lit up with sharp flashes. Lightning tore across the heavens, slicing through the thick, heavy clouds. Birds scattered, wings beating frantically as they fled to their nests for shelter. I slowly let my hands fall back to my sides. The air grew tense, almost too thin to breathe. Around me, everyone stood still, holding their breath, waiting. We all knew what was coming. Seven figures clothed in white appeared in the sky. They flew in a wide circle, and one of them held a rod in her hands. When they reached the space directly above us, they linked hands and threw their heads back, faces turned to the heavens. A low, dark chant began to rise , the sound eerie and unnatural. At first, their voices were faint, almost whisper-like,

  • Alpha Ezra’s Little Witch   Beyond redemption

Melucia I doubled over, nearly tumbling off the tree branch as uncontrollable laughter burst from my lips. I couldn’t help it. The absurdity of the moment, the irony. It turns out, I’m not the only enemy here. That swirling black cloud hovering above her… any white witch worth her salt would recognize it instantly. It wasn’t just a dark aura, it was a tell, a mark of corruption so potent it left no room for doubt. Only a dark witch could carry something so vile, so twisted. And not just any dark witch. It’s only one who had gone too far beyond the point of salvation. Nepthar’s heart had already been swallowed whole by the darkness. Whatever light once lived in her had long since been extinguished. There would be no redemption. No second chances. She was lost. And that made things… far more interesting than I cared to admit. And now, I was even beginning to doubt if this was really Nepthar, Quinn’s daughter. Her presence alone felt suspicious. She had vanished nearly a

Melucia I smiled at Nepthar, all teeth, as I asked, “Did she, huh? Did Anna really die from an accident?” “Yes, she did.” “And how would you know that? It’s not like you were present when it happened. Who knows, your mother and father might be lying to you again just like they hid the fact that you had magic your whole life,” Nepathar’s furious expression faltered and she turned to look at Quinn with a confused expression of with a look at that demanding her mother say I was lying. Nepthar was so easy to manipulate. Before Quinn could speak, Madonna spoke first. “Stop doing that,” With an innocent expression I asked, “Doing what?” “Stop trying to turn us against each other. We are not here to fight. We are not your enemies,” “You could have fooled me,” I sneered at her, “Please don’t tell me you are here to negotiate because that’s a bloody lie,” “Melucia,” she called in they serene voice of hers that I was jealous of but starting to hate, “We can negotiate if you

Melucia Nepthar didn’t stumble back alone. Quinn and the High Priestess did too. Quinn looked pale, her face twisted in shock and horror. I glanced away from her, nausea curling in my gut as an emotion I wasn’t ready to confront bubbled to the surface. “Be careful, Nephy,” I said with a smirk, giving her a nickname I knew she’d loathe. The way her eyes flashed confirmed it. “You don’t want to cross me.” Nepthar looked up at me, specks of earth clinging to her skin. The sight brought me more joy than I cared to admit. Her once-beautiful face was marred by dirt, her eyes sharp with fury. “You’re the one who should be careful,” she snapped, brushing off her gown with sharp, angry movements. I turned from her, brushing off her empty threats, and fixed my gaze on the High Priestess. “I could ask why you’re here,” I said coolly, “But seeing as you brought your little coven, the answer is already obvious.” “I’d ask why you are here but seeing as you brought your coven members,
