Mia's POV 

Then he took a glance at my direction. 

I want to dissolve, the intense stare, scorching as the sun would surely burn if it were to be a natural element. I would ask why the stare, if not that I've committed, he sits by the edge of the bed, calling me with his hand, and I move closer a bit fearfully.
