Alpha Grim's Obsession

 

 Olivia POV

  

 Cold licked my skin as I walked down the street of my pack leading to my home.

  

 Everyone who saw me glared at me or looked at me with scornful eyes because I was the wolf less Omega.

  

 I straightened my spine as I walked down the road, returning their eyes with a cold, icy one. 

  

 I zipped my jacket down, exposing my white long-sleeve shirt that was drenched in blood.

  

 They gasped and turned around; a smile tugged at my lips. If they could not accept me, then they should learn to fear me.

  

 They did not need someone to tell them that I had just killed someone. Although I had a smile on my face, everything within me was screaming anger, bitterness, and frustration.

  

 My eyes heavy from unshed tears and screams. Immediately I got into my house. I walked towards my room and shut the door behind me.

  

 I walked towards my fake vision board that was filled with a doctor's dream. But I would never be a doctor. I would never be valuable.

  

 Guess that was why I chose to be an assassin since I could not save lives; I ended up taking lives.

  

 However, I raised my vision board up, revealing the wall that was filled with a list of names my Alpha had asked me to kill to raise my rank and maybe ask the witches to do something about my wolf.

  

 He had given me ninety-eight names, but the names on my board were hundred. With my Alpha’s name and my dad's name at the last.

  

 I would get my revenge, but for now I ticked number fifty-four, ‘Alpha Nero'

  

 "Ducklings, get dressed; we are waiting for you. It is breakfast time,” my younger sister shouted.

  

 I heaved a sigh; they have refrained from calling me by my name. My mother and my sister preferred to call me duckling. They said it suits me better.

  

 Anyways I took my bath and got dressed and a smile tugged my lips. For every bad day, there was always good news.

  

And today I would tell my dad about my engagement with Conrad. Conrad, my boyfriend, had proposed to me last week, but I have been waiting for the right moment to tell my dad.

  

My marriage with Conrad would mean I am free. Free from my father's grip.

  

“How long do you want us to wait for you, you worthless piece of trash? Who would serve the food if not you?” My father snapped at me immediately as I got to the dining table.

  

I ignored the pang of pain I felt when he called me trash. I am meant to be used to it. In fact, I was comfortable being called trash.

  

What I was not comfortable with was how his eyes bore into my legs and curves. Fucking pervert!

  

I served them and sat down at the edge of the table.

  

After a while of eating in silence, I cleared my throat, drawing their attention. It was time for me to break the news and get insulted as usual.

  

“Conrad's family will be here this weekend. They would be coming to discuss the marriage preparation and

  

“What? Marriage preparations?” My father asked with a wide eye.

  

 I nodded; a smile tugged at my lips. “Yes, he proposed to me last week and

  

"And there would be no marriage," my dad said in a sharp tone.

  

 I shook my head. “Why?” I asked. “If you are bothered about him leaving me, then don't worry; he would not. He knows everything about me,” I added.

  

 I had been left at the altar twice after my sister told my fiancé that I had no wealth and that I killed for a living.

  

 My dad cleared his throat. “That is not the reason why. I know he would end up leaving you again. You are not worth anyone's love. But I just wanted to announce to everyone that the elders from the crest pack would be coming this weekend to take you with them.

  

 I narrowed my eyes; morbid chills ran down my spine. “Take me with them? Why? Did I do something bad? Why would you be giving me out to another pack? It took a while before people became okay with me. I am not leaving; besides, I have friends and a lover. I can't leave them behind,” I said, my voice trembling with sadness.

  

 I can't believe my dad was actually giving me away like that after all I had done.

  

 He shook his head. “I am not giving you as a slave. You would be getting married to Alpha Luca. You would be his seventh wife.

  

 Shock waves ran through my body. I dropped my cutlery and stared at the man who called himself my father.

  

 How could he be so cruel? Alpha Luca is a ninety-nine-year-old Alpha. Four of his wives died through abuse; the others ran away for their dear lives.

  

 Was he actually asking me to marry such a man? “Why?” I asked, and tears filled my eyes.

  

“Why would you give me up like that after hearing all about him? Do you hate me so much? Is there no atom of pity for me in your heart?” I asked. I was on the edge of breaking down.

 

 My father scoffed, “Is that a question? Do I hate you? Come on, Olivia. Don't be so naive; of course I hate you. Your family hates you. I think the whole pack hates a wofess Omega like you who has nothing to offer and who is useless.

  

 "But I am trying!” I shouted, hitting my fist on the table, the tears finally rolling down my eyes.

  

“Olivia!” He growled.

  

 “What! I am trying, father! I am doing all I can! The moon goddess was the one who put me in this position, not me! It is my nature, and I can't change it. Look at me; I am the best in my class, a top member in my combat, the best assassin, and

  

 “You are the best sexual distraction. Stop calling yourself an assassin. We all know you fuck with them before you kill them. You are a sex toy, and you will forever be one. So, do as your father says, marry him, and get out of here,” my mother snapped.

  

 My jaw dropped at her speech. I knew she always hated me, but why would she do such a thing to me? I am a woman like her.

  

 “Mother, this man is ninety-nine, almost clocking a hundred. He might die tomorrow, and I might become a widow. Is that what you want? For your twenty-three-year-old child to be a widow. To have that stigma to my name, that—

 

 “And who told you you are not a stigma?” My father shouted, hitting his fist on the table, making us flinch.

  

 “You are a stain on our name. A disgrace, and you come here to talk about stigma. You would get married to him, and that is final. I have collected the 10 thousand dollars he gave me. Pack your things and leave, or I will drag you out myself," he shouted.

  

 My eyes widened, and a chuckle escaped my lips, making everyone glare at me. I broke into laughter seeing their faces.

  

“Stop laughing!” He shouted.

  

 I shook my head, tears rolling down my cheeks. “I am so sorry. It's just that it is funny. You gave a fully grown girl ten thousand dollars? That's my worth now?” I asked and started laughing.

  

Everyone looked at me like I had gone crazy. Which was true; I had actually gone mad. My father sent me to death for ten thousand dollars.

  

 Slowly the laughter turned into sobs. I have been scorned, beaten, and raped by my father's best friend, my Alpha, and the fifty-three men I had killed.

  

 And they all made me do it with one threat. If you don't do it, we will send you out of the pack.

  

 No one needed to tell me how dangerous it was for a wolf-less girl.

  

 That promise had held me up, ignoring all nonsense. Even when I thought, Why don't I die with them? I said no.

  

 One day I would be recognized. My family would come to respect and accept me, and my state would never matter again.

  

 Guess I was wrong.

  

 I inhaled deeply and stood up, cleaned my tears, and turned to them. “I love you guys. Even when you made me your slave, I still loved you and accepted you as my family. I gave you your respect as my parents and did as you said, but it won't happen again. I would get married to Conrad, and that is final.

  

 My dad's jaw dropped at my words. It was the first time I was going against him.

  

 “You won't dare. Or else—

  

 "Or else what?” I asked him with raised eyebrows. “What are you going to do? Threaten me with exile; you have already done that, or give me to your best friend to rape while you watch. You have already done that. What other possible punishment is there?” I asked.

  

 “You have already done your worst, father. There is nothing left,” I said.

  

 He smiled. “Oh yes, there is. How about I tell your fiancé that you slept with your father's best friend and that you sometimes allowed me to chain your hands to the wall and force you to gag until you vomited? How would he feel about you?” He asked with a morbid smile that sent chills down my spine.

  

Conrad did not know about my abuse. He only knew the surface. I had refused to tell him because of how scared I was. That if he found out about my past, he would leave me, and for what it is worth.

  

I don't think I would live without him. He was my life.

  

 A triumphant look appeared on his face. I opened my mouth to say something when my phone rang.

  

 It was Alpha Killian. I cleaned my sweaty palm against my dress and picked up the call.

  

 "Hello, Alpha Killian."

  

 “Hello dear. I need you to be in my office in the next ten minutes to do some dirty work for me. It's a code black baby,” he said.

  

 Bile surged within me at the mention of code black. No, not again.

  

I turned to him, my fist curled to my side. “I will be back."

  

 “Please don't come back. We are better off without you. Hope you die,” my younger sister shouted as I walked out of the house.
