AVA’s POV

‘Looks like there will be bloodshed,’ Moon murmured, oddly I hear a smile in her words, and I do not like it.

When we got to the main gate, first thing I noticed was there was no one guarding the main door, not even the gates.

Where the hell is everyone? I sure as hell did not just go through that tunnel just to find out I didn’t have to.

My wolf came to an abrupt halt, sniffing the air.

‘Mate,’ she confirmed, and I could not help the excitement surging through me in this moment.

My gut clenches, and I had to admit. I want to see him. God, it had only been weeks, but it felt like a year being apart from him. We didn’t have to fight, and I guess I didn’t need to run away. Maybe all of this wouldn’t have happened.

‘Stop them, Ava,’ Valkerie’s voice overrode my thoughts, snapping me back instantly to reality.

I don’t know what’s Valkerie was thinking but I trusted her.
