Chapter 10 - Kelly

There are only a few people in my life whom I consider important to me. And one of them is my brother. He had been my rock, my lifesaver while I was drowning from all the pain I had to endure because of Leo and Merry.

And there was nothing that I wouldn’t do for my brother.

But if this were another ploy that Leo had set up just to make me go back to Mystic Moon, I would finally lose it.

“What did you say?” I asked the man standing in front of me. I wanted to make sure that I heard him right. “And you better not lie to me because I swear I will have you arrested.”

The man in the Mystic Moon uniform wasn’t unfazed by the threats that I gave. But instead of defending himself with words, he pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it to me.

“I wouldn’t lie about something as serious as life and death.” He replied as his facial expression didn’t change. “And I wouldn’t dare use my Beta Aiden’s name just to lie.”
