Merry was still unconscious when she was brought to her room.

The doctor said that it might be because of stress and advised us to let her rest in the hospital for a day or two to be observed.

I looked at Merry’s unconscious form, trying to see if there was something inside me that would stop me from making this final decision, but there wasn’t.

“I came as soon as I heard,” Kelly’s father said, panting. “What happened?”

“She fainted,” I started to say, “She kept on starting a fight with Kelly–.”

“Kelly’s here?” He asked in surprise. Of course, he doesn’t know.

“Yes,” I replied. “She is taking care of Aiden. Aiden was hurt from his last mission.”

“Aiden was hurt?” I could hear the sadness in his voice, but it surprises me that he doesn’t know a thing about his real children. I know that after Kelly was banished, Aiden left their home. I was just not expecting that he also cut ties with his father.
