“I love you, Kelly.”

I knew that Leo loves me, but hearing them right at this moment made it even more special. Love has always been something I thought I was never allowed to feel. Because, as far as I could remember, love was something I always needed to earn.

Until this moment.

When the only man I have loved said those words to me and meant it.

“I love you, too, Leo,” I replied, pulling him close to me so I could kiss him.

“So what’s your plan for today?” He asked the moment we stopped kissing.

“I will go to the late shifter’s training. And then pick Lylia up.” I replied before adding the vital task he requested me to do today. “And if you and my brother are not busy, I would need to talk to him too, just let me know when he will be free today.”

His brow creases, deep in thought, before replying.
