Chapter Twenty-One

Jared runs over to try and comfort his mother, but she manages to push him away and when she looks to him, she has a look of rage in her eyes.

“You! You did this! Why would you bring them here? We could have been happy together; your father could have taught you the way to properly run a successful pack. And you killed him! You brought that traitor to my pack and now look! Your father is dead!”

Jared steps away from his mother and at her words he feels his mother is gone and he won’t get her back. She will never forgive him for what he has done.
