Chapter Eighteen

Once Caleb was inside his new packhouse, he made his way around looking for Jared and Jackie. He couldn’t seem to find them anywhere, until he made his way to the kitchen. When he walked in, he found Jared with a look of fury on his face and when he looked at who this fury was directed at, he stepped closer to said person in a need to protect them.

“Jared, I understand your upset. I am too. I spent years wondering what my life would be like if I had a child of my own, and when your mother first told me she was pregnant, I thought my life was going to be better and I would finally get everything I had prayed for. But she told me that you could have been Alpha James child too, I guess I just never thought about it much. I’m willing to move passed this and I would like to try and get to know you better and I understand that you know Alpha James as your father, and I get it. But I would like for us to at least try.”
