Kate POV
I had decided I needed to speak with Alpha Jackson, Beta Gregory, and Beta Reid. The next day we met in the conference room in the morning. Although Jackson and Gregory were retired, we still called them by their official titles out of respect. I had already told my father what we knew – that Louise was his daughter. He wasn’t hearing it and wouldn’t discuss it beyond our discussion today. I knew he needed time, but it wasn’t her fault. To punish her for something he had done many years before wasn’t right.
