Maya didn't know what to feel. On one hand, she really hoped Killian could at least soften his heart and retract his decision of banishing the maids from the pack. After losing what she called home, she could understand how it feels and she did not wish that for anyone, even her enemy.

On the other hand, she knew that Killian was right. The people needed to be taught how to respect her. As an Alpha male, taking pity on those two could be seen as softness and that could encourage the others to go against his words. As long as they could be forgiven after pleading. That was not something she wanted for Killian. Being indecisive could lead to his people questioning his authority and ability to lead the people.

She watched as Killian walked away without even turning to look at her.

Walking back to the maids, she could only pity them.

" Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to help you. Take this as a lesson. Wherever you are, you have to respect authority. I hope you have a smooth life
