That night, we went to bed with a lot of plans for the next day. I wanted to stay awake because it devastated me. After Aramis told me that the only way Layla could get pregnant was if she had used that potion, I just couldn’t calm down. She was the reason I missed everything and would have never survived if Aramis hadn’t come to rescue me.
