24- When Pleasure Blinds You

My mood was sour when Theodore dismissed my concern. For him, Scarlett was his friend, someone who always helped him when he was struggling with the curse. I can't really blame him for trusting his friend. And I had no idea how to explain to him what I was feeling.

"Why do you look so angry? You look like a tomato, you see, Serenity. Red. Angry. Hot. Delicious. Maybe I can take a bite of you and know what is making you so angry?" Theodore said, walking out of the bathroom, towel draped around his waist, showing a lot more of his body.

His golden skin was shining as droplets fell down from his damp hair, rolling down his neck, his chest. I gulped harshly when my eyes fell on his torso. Naked. He was naked except for a towel. The mischievous glint in his eyes made my throat dry, like sandpaper.

And suddenly my sour mood, my anger, my frustration, every negative emotion I had piled up inside me melted faster than butter on a hot pan. I was gaping at him, like a fish. He was looking too
