Theodore looked at me when Scarlett asked him to cook for her as well. Normally, I wouldn't have minded but something about her made me feel uneasy. I closed my eyes, and nodded my head softly. I shouldn't let her affect me.

"Sure." Theodore whispered, tying the apron around his waist before he started washing the vegetables, and removed meat from the fridge.

"So, what are you cooking?" Scarlett asked Theodore, walking beside him, taking the knife from his hand, her hands brushing his forearm.

My eyes narrowed slightly when she inched close to him, smiling sweetly at him as she started chopping the vegetables. Clenching my jaw tightly I looked away from them, taking a deep breath.

"Can you shift a little, Scarlett?" Theodore asked her politely, but his voice was low, dangerous to my ears. My eyes snapped towards them. Theodore looked uncomfortable. His fingers were clenched in a fist, and his muscles were tense. He looked angry.
