"Shit! That woman is crazy!"

My eyes were wide open. I wasn't that crazy to accept her duel challenge. If I accepted the challenge, both of us would be shrouded in a transparent veil where no one else could interfere until one of us died. But why would I do that? Why would I hurt someone who is a member of my pack?

"I, Luna Celestial Dawn pack, Ruby Maverick, refuse a life-and-death battle with Erica Rainer."

Her eyes darkened. She walked around getting closer to me, and at the same time, I took a few steps back.

"Think calmly. Don't involve your anger in this matter. Death is not a trivial matter."
