19 - Runaway with Dangerous Alpha

The vehicle carried by David's subordinates continued to drive through the crowded streets, while inside the car I kept staring ahead, wondering where the Alpha sitting beside me would take me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked without turning to look at David.

"Take it easy, I won't do anything to you ... I will make sure you are safe with me, without the shadow of Hilbert," he said.

I then chose to remain silent, no longer asking where David would take me.

Choosing to try to trust him alone, hoping that he would not disappoint me later.

The silence that was created in the car for quite a long time turned out to make me feel uncomfortable, I felt as if there was only me alone there while in reality, other people were sitting next to me.

The atmosphere made me feel awkward.
