‘Over my dead body,’
That was what my answer was, but it died in my mouth when my father’s voice rang in my head, asking me to behave.
“Sure, he will." He answered on my behalf. I gritted my teeth and stayed quiet. Althea placed her hand over mine to calm me down.
‘Just tell her the truth and threaten her to cooperate.' She mind-linked. I pulled my hand away from her and focused on having dinner, though I had lost my appetite a long time ago.
I had to share a table with a person whose family had killed my people in the past. My blood boiled at that thought.
‘But she is innocent, isn’t she?’ My wolf suggested.
‘Even if that is so, then the truth won’t change that she is a human, a weakling.' The future Alpha King is taking a human Luna as his mate. I wanted to laugh at the thought. I needed a powerful queen by my side, not a human, whom I hated the most after those bloodsucking leeches.
My perfect life collapsed from the moment when that witch cursed me!

I went hunting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday along with my friends in the forest. Faris had arranged alcohol as well. Everything was great until I woke up in the middle of the night hearing the painful scream of a woman. Without wasting a second, I ran toward the scream to save whoever was in dire need of help.
I was shocked to see that Faris, one of my friends, was forcing himself on a woman. I pulled him away from her and punched him with all my strength.
“Have you lost your mind? Has the alcohol gone to your head?” I growled.
“When she doesn’t have any problem, then why are you poking your nose in between?” Faris slurred. He didn’t look like he was in his right mind.
I grabbed his arm and pushed him away when he tried to approach that woman. “Come back to your senses, Faris. She is a human, a weakling, and a lowly creature. Do you really want to stoop so low and touch someone who is beneath us?” I questioned him; knowing him all my life, I knew this method was going to work on him.
“Our pack is full of strong she-wolves. You’ll get many, so just ignore this human, buddy,” I said, and thankfully, the reverse psychology worked, and he walked away from there while I stayed back with the thought of taking that woman out of the forest.
The moment I turned around, I found that woman glaring at me.
“Why are you throwing daggers with your eyes instead of thanking me? If only you hadn't been weak, this wouldn't have happened to you. " I showed her reality.
“You called humans weaklings…" Her voice roared, and she didn’t look like just a human anymore. It was then that I sensed magic, and my eyes widened in shock. She wasn’t just a human but a witch.
“I curse you and all your kind that from this moment not a single offspring will be born in anyone’s family."
“Please… I beg you." I quickly went to my knees, realizing what I just did. Witches could be weak in strength, but no one competes with their magical power. “I said all those things to protect you,” I selfishly reminded her of the favor that I had done for her.
So, she owes me one, right?
“That doesn’t change what you think about humans?” She chuckled, still glaring at me.
“Fine. If you marry a human,” immediately she smirked, and I felt a chill down my bones, “not just anyone, but marry the daughter of a hunter and have an heir with her, then every one of your kind can have their offspring.”
W…what?
Before I could negotiate any further, she disappeared from there.
At first, I didn’t believe the curse, but one by one, every she-wolf who was carrying pups ended up having miscarriages, or the pups couldn’t survive during delivery. After all, no matter how hard anyone tried, they couldn’t get pregnant.
And surprisingly, this wasn’t the problem of my pack, but of all the packs in the whole world. The population of werewolves was decreasing, and the solution was to marry my archenemy. If the curse had ended at that point, then I could have tolerated it, but to have a pup with a human was disturbing.

“Zephyr… Zephyr…” Dad's loud voice brought me back to reality. “It looks like you have no intention of having dinner. Why don’t you give a tour of the pack to Lady Gianna then?”
Why couldn’t he do that himself?
"Sure." I forced myself to get up from my seat.
“I haven’t done anything like this before, so keep your expectations low." I initiated the conversation once we were alone.
“It’s okay. I don't have any expectation from you at all.” My eyes narrowed when I understood the meaning behind it, or maybe I was overthinking. I was not quite sure. For the first time, instead of glaring at her, I observed her.
“Says the one who is practically showing her body with this vulgar dress,” I remarked, looking at her breasts. I could clearly see the stitching around the neck, but because of it, the dress looked so tight-fitting around her breasts that I wouldn’t be surprised if it popped out by ripping the dress apart.
“Is this your way to seduce me? Then it is not working at all?”
Lie.
It was working. I had no idea. Why? But after that witch curse, I had stopped feeling desire for any she-wolves; for some reason, I felt like a hungry beast watching her in this seductive dress.
“I’m glad. In that case, you won’t lunge at me like a horny mutt to spend a wedding night with me.” She was about to move forward when I grabbed her wrist and pulled her close.
“Who said that I need to be interested in your body to spend a wedding night with you? I can fuck you like a whore if I want." Of course, that’s a lie, but there was no way she could detect it, right?
“Unhand me." She struggled in my arms, rubbing her breast against mine.
“Weak,” I said, enjoying her misery, and tightened my grip to make her realize that I was the superior among us. “I can break your bones with a snap of my finger, you know that, don’t you?” I threatened, hearing her heartbeat increase.
It looked like I had found a perfect toy for my entertainment.

Gianna*‘Why does he want to meet me?’I learned about it on the same day, but I didn’t confirm because I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to meet him alone or not.Unaware of his identity, Grandma suggested I attend the meeting, suggesting it would be related to my medicines because he was not just a shareholder of the company but also a bulk purchaser of those medicines.I had prepared the medicine in a way that it could be used for humans and werewolves. It's just that the dosage would be larger for the werewolves compared to humans. It wasn’t surprising for me that he figured that out. I never cared about those medicines because I wasn’t even sure whether anyone would buy them.I had survived fever, cough, cold, and many other sicknesses by using the herbs in the forest instead of having the medicine, not that I didn’t want to, but because everyone wanted me dead. At the same time, it wasn’t easy to find remedies with unknown herbs; I had them experiment on myself.Sometimes there w
Zephyr*It took me every ounce of strength to ignore her.She had no idea what sort of thought I had had from the moment my eyes landed on her. If only I could rip that asshole’s hand off who kept touching her.I was thinking of starting a conversation related to pups. I wasn’t sure what she had told them about their father, but…. But in case there was even a slight chance, then I wanted to be a part of their life.Of course, I didn’t want to use them to enter her life or snatch them from her. I just wanted to watch them grow, even if it would be from afar. But all my thoughts went downhill when I read her message that she sent to that asshole.‘Our troublemakers,’Even though I was their father by blood, someone had already taken that place in their lives. They might think of Cassander Stone as their father. They didn’t need me.Gianna had lived all her life in pain and misery. So, I had no intention of ruining her peaceful life and her family of her own.But what should I do about
Gianna*The way he was calm and unaffected by my presence was screaming that he was aware, but how?Did Sienna tell him?I averted my eyes from him. I shouldn’t show him that his presence was troubling me. I wondered what Grandma was thinking when she dragged me into this meeting.I didn’t understand a thing related to numbers, graphs, and this strange balance sheet. I just sat beside her and kept a poker face just like she had asked me to do.I wondered how my kids were doing in their new school.Thankfully, they didn’t face any issues at the time of their admission and passed the test easily."One day, they will definitely understand these things, unlike their mother. But would they feel ashamed after learning that I never received a proper education?’If that were the case, then I would have to study these things as well. Now that they had started school, I would have a little more time with myself. But this thing wasn’t of my interest. I rotated my eyes around only to find his g
Zephyr*‘It’s her,’ My wolf jumped in joy when we finally got the chance to see the clear pictures that my spy sent. It took him more than two hours to fool those hunters and escape. As much as I was happy with this news, something else was troubling me as well. The beautiful blonde man behind her.Who was he?Why was he with Gianna? She didn’t marry him and move on in her life, did she?Well, she had every right to do so, but still…Hah! What was I thinking? That she would wait for me.I didn’t miss the smile and glow on her face. She looked a little tired, but she didn’t look anything like when she had left this pack.Hurt and broken.I wanted to know more, but I couldn’t gather any further information unless someone told me about her from inside, and there was only one person who could do it.Sienna.Though I doubted that she would do anything to break Dixon’s trust.Still, I shamelessly mind-linked her. ‘Did you meet Gianna? I learned that she is here.' I went directly to the poi
Gianna*“Hello, Aunt Seinna,” Lexi greeted Sienna, who was almost frozen at my daughter’s words.“Hello, Lexi,” She forced a smile at her lips.I bet a lot of things were going on in her mind, and she was trying to digest everything. At the same time, Dixon answered my question before I could even ask him.He was serious about her.He wasn’t going to throw her out of his life after fun, but was planning to marry her.“When are you going to marry, Aunt?”“Soon,”“How soon?” It looked like Ragnar wasn’t going to let go of this topic.“Very soon, Ragnar. Weren’t you saying that you were hungry before?” I changed the topic because it didn’t look like the couple had anything to say about their marriage.“And that’s my grandmother,” Dixon introduced Grandma, who looked like a man of his age.I saw a big frown on her face.“Cassandra Stone, Grand High Witch of Darham City,” Grandma introduced herself after everyone around us froze like a statue, and she came in her real form."W...witch?" S
Sienna*Hearing the commotion, I left the bed and grabbed Dixon’s shirt to wear it before checking what was happening outside from the window.I saw a little pup enjoying everyone's reactions, showing them a chameleon. “Ragnar, you shouldn’t take advantage of anyone’s fear.”“But Mom, it’s fun,” that pup chirped, but he immediately lowered his head when he received a glare from his mother. He let go of the chameleon and held Gianna’s t-shirt. Without wasting a second, she picked him up in his arms.“Apologize to everyone."“I’m sorry." With that, he quickly hid his face in his mother’s nape.Mom!‘So, she is a mother now. Is that pup her son or adopted?’ I wondered because I remembered her marriage to Zephyr got annulled because she was infertile.I was about to walk away when something clicked in my mind. I looked at the pendant that I was wearing. It was given by Dixon when he had confessed his love for me. It was one of the most precious things that he held close to his heart bec
