‘Over my dead body,’
That was what my answer was, but it died in my mouth when my father’s voice rang in my head, asking me to behave.
“Sure, he will." He answered on my behalf. I gritted my teeth and stayed quiet. Althea placed her hand over mine to calm me down.
‘Just tell her the truth and threaten her to cooperate.' She mind-linked. I pulled my hand away from her and focused on having dinner, though I had lost my appetite a long time ago.
I had to share a table with a person whose family had killed my people in the past. My blood boiled at that thought.
‘But she is innocent, isn’t she?’ My wolf suggested.
‘Even if that is so, then the truth won’t change that she is a human, a weakling.' The future Alpha King is taking a human Luna as his mate. I wanted to laugh at the thought. I needed a powerful queen by my side, not a human, whom I hated the most after those bloodsucking leeches.
My perfect life collapsed from the moment when that witch cursed me!

I went hunting on the eve of my eighteenth birthday along with my friends in the forest. Faris had arranged alcohol as well. Everything was great until I woke up in the middle of the night hearing the painful scream of a woman. Without wasting a second, I ran toward the scream to save whoever was in dire need of help.
I was shocked to see that Faris, one of my friends, was forcing himself on a woman. I pulled him away from her and punched him with all my strength.
“Have you lost your mind? Has the alcohol gone to your head?” I growled.
“When she doesn’t have any problem, then why are you poking your nose in between?” Faris slurred. He didn’t look like he was in his right mind.
I grabbed his arm and pushed him away when he tried to approach that woman. “Come back to your senses, Faris. She is a human, a weakling, and a lowly creature. Do you really want to stoop so low and touch someone who is beneath us?” I questioned him; knowing him all my life, I knew this method was going to work on him.
“Our pack is full of strong she-wolves. You’ll get many, so just ignore this human, buddy,” I said, and thankfully, the reverse psychology worked, and he walked away from there while I stayed back with the thought of taking that woman out of the forest.
The moment I turned around, I found that woman glaring at me.
“Why are you throwing daggers with your eyes instead of thanking me? If only you hadn't been weak, this wouldn't have happened to you. " I showed her reality.
“You called humans weaklings…" Her voice roared, and she didn’t look like just a human anymore. It was then that I sensed magic, and my eyes widened in shock. She wasn’t just a human but a witch.
“I curse you and all your kind that from this moment not a single offspring will be born in anyone’s family."
“Please… I beg you." I quickly went to my knees, realizing what I just did. Witches could be weak in strength, but no one competes with their magical power. “I said all those things to protect you,” I selfishly reminded her of the favor that I had done for her.
So, she owes me one, right?
“That doesn’t change what you think about humans?” She chuckled, still glaring at me.
“Fine. If you marry a human,” immediately she smirked, and I felt a chill down my bones, “not just anyone, but marry the daughter of a hunter and have an heir with her, then every one of your kind can have their offspring.”
W…what?
Before I could negotiate any further, she disappeared from there.
At first, I didn’t believe the curse, but one by one, every she-wolf who was carrying pups ended up having miscarriages, or the pups couldn’t survive during delivery. After all, no matter how hard anyone tried, they couldn’t get pregnant.
And surprisingly, this wasn’t the problem of my pack, but of all the packs in the whole world. The population of werewolves was decreasing, and the solution was to marry my archenemy. If the curse had ended at that point, then I could have tolerated it, but to have a pup with a human was disturbing.

“Zephyr… Zephyr…” Dad's loud voice brought me back to reality. “It looks like you have no intention of having dinner. Why don’t you give a tour of the pack to Lady Gianna then?”
Why couldn’t he do that himself?
"Sure." I forced myself to get up from my seat.
“I haven’t done anything like this before, so keep your expectations low." I initiated the conversation once we were alone.
“It’s okay. I don't have any expectation from you at all.” My eyes narrowed when I understood the meaning behind it, or maybe I was overthinking. I was not quite sure. For the first time, instead of glaring at her, I observed her.
“Says the one who is practically showing her body with this vulgar dress,” I remarked, looking at her breasts. I could clearly see the stitching around the neck, but because of it, the dress looked so tight-fitting around her breasts that I wouldn’t be surprised if it popped out by ripping the dress apart.
“Is this your way to seduce me? Then it is not working at all?”
Lie.
It was working. I had no idea. Why? But after that witch curse, I had stopped feeling desire for any she-wolves; for some reason, I felt like a hungry beast watching her in this seductive dress.
“I’m glad. In that case, you won’t lunge at me like a horny mutt to spend a wedding night with me.” She was about to move forward when I grabbed her wrist and pulled her close.
“Who said that I need to be interested in your body to spend a wedding night with you? I can fuck you like a whore if I want." Of course, that’s a lie, but there was no way she could detect it, right?
“Unhand me." She struggled in my arms, rubbing her breast against mine.
“Weak,” I said, enjoying her misery, and tightened my grip to make her realize that I was the superior among us. “I can break your bones with a snap of my finger, you know that, don’t you?” I threatened, hearing her heartbeat increase.
It looked like I had found a perfect toy for my entertainment.

Zephyr * Picking him up in my arms, I asked his name and immediately regretted it when he said, “Ragnar Stone." When they knew that Cassander Stone wasn’t their father, then why? “Welcome to Blackwood Heights Academy, Mr. Woods,” Osmond Brown, principal of the academy, greeted. He was one of those humans who were aware of my true identity. ‘Looking at them together, it looks like they’re father and son,’ I heard someone whisper. The moment my eyes landed on her, she shut her mouth and lowered her head. "Hmm." I waited for him to guide me inside, but instead, he was hesitating a little. I was so caught up with the fact that I accidentally found Ragnar at a place where we weren’t even searching that I failed to realize something. I looked around and said, “There should be a function on the eve of successfully completing 50 years of the academy," but instead of that, it seemed like a regular day at school. “Madam Woods told me that you'll be visiting in her place and you’re not f
Zephyr*‘Mom wants to buy some gifts for the pups. Please share their likes and dislikes.' I sent the text when she didn’t receive my call.‘Ragnar loves cars, and Lexi loves reading books and playing with dolls. Ragnar’s favorite color is red, and Lexi loves pink.’ She replied immediately. So, either she intentionally didn’t receive the call, or she might be busy.I mind-linked Mom the same before looking at Adler.“Do you find anything about the pup’s school?” I asked the first thing in the morning before working on any other topic."..."“It’s okay,”“Four cars always leave Dixon’s Vane’s house at 8:30 in the morning, and then they part in four directions. We followed all those cars, but to our disappointment, more cars with the same number plate were waiting for us to fool us.”“What’s my schedule for today?” I asked, changing the subject.“Your school, Blackwood Heights Academy, has completed 50 years in the human world. So, you need to visit there to show your face.”To learn hu
Gianna*The next morning, I told my brother about my conversation with Zephyr and that I was considering introducing the kids to Zephyr as Sienna’s brother.“Okay.” It didn’t look like he had any problem with that.“Dixon, is it true that Zephyr was looking for me, and you didn’t let him reach me?”“Yes!”“And you never cleared my misunderstanding about Vanessa and him not getting married.”“I failed to treat his sister in the same way as he did to you, though that was my plan.” My eyes widened when I heard that.I wasn’t expecting him to be an asshole-type person. I looked around before whispering, “Does Sienna know about it?”“Yes.”“That’s why I took revenge on him by keeping you far from him as long as possible, even though I was aware of his feelings for you.”"Y...you knew about his feelings. Did he tell you about his feelings?” I asked, and he looked at me as if I were insane. “Anyone with experience can see that.”“Oh.”“What about you, Anna?”“What about me?”“What do you th
Gianna * I tried to sleep, but I couldn’t. I felt like I wouldn’t sleep in peace unless I told him everything about the kids. At that time, Clover asked if she could see the kids, and I allowed her. She broke into sobs when she saw them, sleeping peacefully. She almost touched them, but fearing they would wake up and it would be hard to explain everything to them, she controlled herself and took their pictures before asking me to bring them to the family meeting. ‘I’m sure she will show those pictures to him as well,’ I thought. ‘Why is he reacting like he didn’t care?’ ‘He should also have barged in here to meet his kids if he wanted to. Or is he being considerate?’ There were a lot of questions that were still to be answered. I picked up my phone and typed his number using the code of Werewolf World. I wasn’t sure whether he still had the same number as in the past, but I still tried my luck. I quickly removed the phone from my ear the moment I heard the first ring. ‘There
Gianna * There was a pin-drop-awkward silence in the hall, and I didn’t know what I should do. Out of nowhere, Clover and Riley arrived at Dixon’s place when neither he nor Sienna was home. Of course, the guards didn’t let them in until Sienna was home, and, to my surprise, she asked them to leave, watching the argument from afar. For half an hour, they stayed outside, arguing and fighting, until Dixon arrived and let them in after confirming that I was comfortable with their unannounced visit. A part of me wanted to stay hidden when they came, but I didn’t do anything wrong to hide from them, did I? The kids were taking a nap after returning from school, so I didn’t have any valid excuse to stay in their room. “I remembered asking you when you would be free, Former Alpha Riley, but I wasn’t expecting you to visit my place without informing Sienna or me,” Dixon finally said once the maid left after serving coffee and snacks to them. “I apologize for visiting unannounced,” Rile
Zephyr*I wanted to hold her and ask, ‘Didn’t she have anything to tell me?’ However, I controlled myself. My confession, truth, and apology were too much for her. She needed time to take in everything I told her.Though I didn’t get any of the things that my heart desired, I must admit that I felt so light, as if something heavy on my chest had been lifted by telling her everything.Adler was right. The solution to my problem was indeed communication. But now what?I told Gianna that I didn’t expect anything, but the truth was far from what I told her. For now, all I could do was wait.Wait for the right time."Adler, did you find out in which school my pups have been admitted?" I mind-linked my beta walking out of the conference room.‘No, Alpha. Dixon Vane has hidden the details perfectly.’‘Good,’Even though it wasn’t good news for me, I was glad that they were safe from the eyes of Halston Vane. Just like me, even he was keeping an eye on Dixon, and if he learned about Gianna’s
Gianna * “I would have failed to learn about it if not for August.” With that, he narrated what August did after falling for Vanessa’s naive and innocent trap. In that way, I learned how Clover ended up suggesting to me the same tea that Vanessa did. So, she didn’t plan anything against me. She w
Gianna * ‘Why does he want to meet me?’ I learned about it on the same day, but I didn’t confirm because I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to meet him alone or not. Unaware of his identity, Grandma suggested I attend the meeting, suggesting it would be related to my medicines because he was not jus
Gianna*I saw dozens of werewolves standing at the place, which I believe to be the pack border. The driver who was cursing me earlier opened the car’s door for me.Hah! He at least pretended that I was a beloved and pampered daughter of Vane’s family after their favorite daughter refused to marry
Gianna*“Damn it! Why is there no proper road in this forest?” My driver kept cursing because of the poor road, as it was getting hard for him to drive the car. “If only I could leave this bitch in the middle of the forest,” he grumbled, making sure that I heard that. “You know we can’t do that,
