"Let her go!" I said loudly, masking the panic that was building beneath my stomach.

The wolf that held onto her had a smug look on its face as his claws dug deeper into her neck, ready to make a slash when I caught sight of a movement behind them and saw the head cook, Daniel, walking gently over to them before launching himself on the rogue, making him let go of Micaela.

I leaped towards them, clawing the rogue and sending him flying away from the head cook. I stalked towards it in a threatening manner, my teeth bared.
