Another Trouble

Evelyn's POV

At that moment, my heart began to race and it felt as if my heart was going to burst out of my chest.

Even though I wanted to run, I was too weak to do so. Besides, with the injury on my body, there was nothing I was able to do. With the days of starving, I had already used up my energy trying to outrun Alpha Kyle and in men.

Now that I had outrun them, I had gotten into another problem. It seems like my luck was terrible.

"There she is." My voice suddenly sounded before bringing me back to my senses.

Before I could do anything, I was surrounded by three blurry-looking men who stared at me with hostility in their eyes.

"Who are you?" One of the men growled as he walked towards me.

"I..." I shuttered not knowing what to say.

Even though the pressure they gave me was not even half of what I experienced from Alpha Kyle, and I could easily repel it, I was too weak to do anything making me feel rather intimidated.

"Talk, who the fuck are you?" The other man growled as he glared at me.

"I'm lost." I managed to say.

There was no way I was going to tell them that I was a runaway wolf from another pack, they might as well return me to Alpha Kyle if I said that.

"Tie her up, the Alpha would question her himself." One of the guards who looked to be their leader frowned.

Immediately, the other two sprang into action and tied me up into a bundle even more I could move. Even if I wanted to struggle, I didn't have the strength.

Bundled up like a stack of fish, I was taken back to the pack.

"Throw her into the dungeon, the Alpha will question her tomorrow, we can't disturb his rest because of her." A voice sounded just as I thought I was going to lose consciousness as I was very uncomfortable.

Before I knew what was happening, I was untied and thrown into a rather dark place. The chipping of the crickets and the constant rustling of the rats were all that I could hear. I couldn't even see my finger.

I just lay on the stop I was thrown and couldn't move. I had already expended all my energy trying to run away, and coupled with my injuries, I was sure I'd die in no time.

Who'll care about a rogue anyway? Well, that thought was sooting as I knew that I would finally have some rest. At the very least, that was what I deserved, eternal rest.

Thinking about this, I slowly began to lose consciousness. Maybe, I was going to meet with Hades this time around. Well, it would be a good thing if I could meet with him as I wouldn't have to be stuck in this world anymore.

"Wake her up, the Alpha asked us to bring her!"

"Do you think the Alpha would allow her to stay in the pack!"

"That's for him to decide, he knows a lot more than us!"

"But..."

"You don't have to wake her up!"

Voices drifted into my ears forcing me to open my eyes. What a disappointment, I thought I had gone to Hades place, but it seemed like I was back in this damned world.

Pain racked through my body as I tried to get up, but it was rather impossible, even though I had slept Esther all through, I felt weaker instead of regaining my energy which made me wonder what was happening.

"Get up!"

A fierce voice boomed into my ear sending an electric bolt down my spine.

I subconsciously wanted to stand, but my body wouldn't leave me. The more I tried, the more I got weaker. No matter how hard I tried, my body wouldn't listen to my command.

"Get up!"

The voice came again and I felt a strong arm yank me to my feet. Even though I tried to say still, it was impossible as I staggered backward before falling back to the floor.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!"

The voice came again and I couldn't help but feel afraid, but how could I say that I was too weak to stand?

"Get the fuck off your butt!"

The voice came again and Yanked me to my feet, this time, the arm didn't leave me and dragged me straight out of the dungeon.

Getting outside, I had no choice but to squint my eyebrow as it was already midday and the sun was up, it was too bright for me as I had been in the dungeon for too long.

At the moment, I could care less about the state of my body, all I could care about was my fate. What would the Alpha of this pack do?

Would he ask the guards to return me to Alpha Kyle's pack after making me tell him where I came from?

Would he turn me to his slave instead as it was not all who was able to resist my beauty? What would he do? My heart couldn't help but race as j thought about it.

But then no matter how much I thought about it, I just couldn't come up with a conclusion, All o knew was that my mind was always wandering off and I would end up not getting an answer.

Soon, I was brought to a place, to be rather precise, it was like a tent. In the tent was a tall muscular figure sitting with a smile on his face. Besides him were some other people whom I assumed to be some important members of the pack.

"Here is she sir!" The guard who had been dragging me suddenly stopped as he bowed toward the figure whom I had thought to be the Alpha.

"Kneel!"

The voice suddenly sounded as he threw me roughly to the floor in front of the man. Because I was too weak and the force he had thrown me with was quite much, I landed fist-faced to the floor.

Besides, with the hard floor, I got some bruises on my skin. Even though I couldn't care less about the injury and wanted to sit up and how before this Alpha who looked quite intimidating, my body wouldn't listen to me.

"What do you think you're doing? Kneel!"

The guard's voice came as he berated me, I could feel his anxiousness, but still, my body wouldn't listen to me, no matter how much I tried, there was nothing I could do. The only thing I could do was to raise my head and stare at the Alpha who was staring at me with a frown on his face.

Seeing the frown, a shiver down my spine and I wanted to quickly bow to me just as the guard had ordered, but my body wouldn't listen to me. It was as if a force was pressing me down to the floor and preventing me from standing.

"I said, kneel!" The guard's voice came again. This time, he was angry and I knew I was in trouble.

Even though I wanted to explain that I was too weak to do anything, I couldn't open my mouth. I was struggling and using all my power to barely keep myself conscious.

"Knell bitch!" The guard finally lost it all and stomped towards me in anger, intending to force me to kneel.

"Stand back!" Suddenly a voice boomed making the guard freeze on his track.
