“You should not exert yourself too much. Your body is still recovering from the trauma of the loss of blood.” The headmistress said, looking me in the eye. “And if you are afraid of losing your job, you are not. You have proven to be worth more than just Claire’s little spy or follower.”

It seemed Alaria had spoken to the headmistress about me being scared of losing my job to gain sympathy. Good. I will use that to my advantage.
