CHAPTER TWO: the Alpha's Annoying Daughter

Daciana’s POV

“This is going to be the biggest stage that you have ever stepped on since you debuted,” Vera, my manager and best friend, said with an excited voice.

Few days ago, I suddenly got an invitation from the royal family to perform in a concert that they have organized.

I had to take it to my father for confirmation and after he called his friend who is a councilman, it was really confirmed.

Turned out they were organizing a concert to distract the people from all the crazy things that had been happening. Everyone is aware of the various attacks on the different villages and towns by the rogues.

“Girl, are you with me?” Vera said while tapping me on the head with an annoyed expression.

“Sorry V, I was just thinking of something” I apologized with a smile.

Bang!

My room door was suddenly pushed open with force, causing it to crash on the wall.

Sasha, walked in with her head held up high while staring at me with a condescending expression.

How can I ever get rid of this diva, if murder wasn't a crime, I would have killed her already.

Sasha is the daughter of the Alpha of werecove, my hometown and unluckily for me, my father is his Beta. Her father lets her do whatever she wants because her mother died early, even hurting innocent people.

Our father's are best friends but we are not even on smiling terms. I don't know what's wrong with her, she's always competing with me and trying to take whatever I like.

When I started my music career, she also decided to become a singer but after a huge embarrassment in front of a lot of people, she finally dropped the idea.

After five years, she finally understood that she can't compete with me anymore, so she created an antifan group, where she uses the members to smear my name but it never has any effect on me, as most of her group members are snobby rich kids with chaotic private lives.

“I am sorry big sis, I tried to stop her but she pushed but she pushed me out of the way” Gina, my little assistant, who is also my adopted sister said with a crying tone.

I immediately got off the sofa and walked to where she was standing to check on her.

“Ginie, are you hurt? Why are you covering your face?” I asked her with a worried tone.

“I am fine big sis” she said while avoiding eye contact with me.

I immediately knew she was lying and pulled her hand off her face, when I saw the red finger prints on her face and some nails scratches, I gestured for her to sit on the sofa.

“How dare you lay your hands on my sister?” I asked Sasha with a serious tone.

“Hey, lower your voice when you speak to me, I am the princess of this town” she said arrogantly while snapping her fingers in my face.

Slap!

I returned the slap that she gave to my sister to her and she just held her face in shock while staring at me.

“Daci, how dare you hit me?!” She yelled like she wanted to blow off the roof.

“You seem to be getting old and forgetful, I told you that you can insult me and fight with me but you should never dare to try it on the people that I care about” I said with a serious tone while staring in her eyes.

She subconsciously took a few steps back in fear, I know that I can be very scary when I am angry and she can also testify to it as well.

“She is not even your biological sister, she is just an orphan that your father picked up from the border after a rogue attack. She doesn't fit in here, just look at her brown skin color and extremely curly hair” Sasha said while staring at Gina with her eyes dripping with disdain.

“I have no problem with where she came from or her looks, the only thing I know is that she is my sister and I will protect her for the rest of my life” I said with a firm tone.

“So handsome” Vera said from behind me which made me laugh and some of my anger was dispelled in the process.

“Big sis, let's continue parking, we don't want to delay our flight” Gina said with a smile.

“Hmph, a man that is always walking around with a girl younger than him, all in the name of being her manager is definitely not clean” Sasha suddenly said but Vera held my shoulder to stop me from responding to her.

Vera is a girl from another village that was also rescued by my father, she was fifteen when my father rescued her and at first glance we all conclude that she was a teenage boy but later on, she revealed that she was actually a girl and told us about the circumstances that made her to start dressing up as a boy.

My father told her to do what makes her happy and she said she wants to continue dressing up like a boy as she was already used to it.

Her secret is only known to me, my father and Gina. So every other person sees her as a man till this day.

When Sasha saw that no one was paying attention to her, she stamped her tweets on the floor angrily like a spoiled brat.

“My father said that I should go with you to the capital” she finally said what brought her here in the first place.

“Your father or you went to him crying and begging to go with me?” I asked her with a smirk.

“Who wants to go anywhere with you? He is just worried that I might meet people with bad intentions if I go alone,” she said arrogantly.

“Then just stay in Werecove, there is no need for you to come with us. If someone should hear you now, they will think that you are my biggest fan” I said while still maintaining my smirk.

“My father said that I should come with you, are you defying the Alpha's order?” She said with her nose raised high.

“Go pack your things, we are leaving by twelve noon” Vera said with a serious tone.

“That's more like it, just watch how I make the crown prince fall in love with me and become the next queen of Lycantropolis” Sasha said with an exaggerated smile.

“You are really crazy, dreaming of marrying the crown prince, after shamelessly rejecting your mate” I sneered at her.

“Say whatever you want but just know that the day I become queen will be the day your music career ends,” she said arrogantly before walking out of the room and slamming the door.

“What a bitch” Gina cursed angrily.

“Words, young lady” I said while giving her a warning glare.

“Sorry big sis” she apologized and I nodded with a smile.

We had to tolerate her because her father is a very shady person, he acts like he cares every time we report Sasha's misbehavior but he never does anything to correct her.

I still remember the last time I fought with her and scratched her face. He acted like everything was fine but increased my father's workload until he broke down.

It was a warning to me and my sisters and I will definitely take revenge on him for all the suffering he has been putting my father through.

It's only a matter of time, let's just wait and watch.
