Chapter 28: Messenger
October 14th
Leaving the school for potentially the last time ever, I sprinted into the forest toward the Cerridwen village. With any luck, I'd get there and back without being seen by any of Leo's men, or worse, Leo.
He opened the passenger door and hauled me out before pushing me into the back seat and climbing in after me."Blair, drive back to Stella," Leo ordered. He then turned to me."Where is Logan?"
October 14thI avoided him all day after that until he called me down for food."I still have a few questions," he said after handing me a plate of the steak and vegetables.I looked up at him and then back to my meat.
October 14th"We're going to be late," I said when it got to 6:56 pm and we still hadn't left for the party at 7:00 pm.After agreeing not to speak about the events of today again, things had been much better and we'd spent half an hour cuddling, watching 'friends' on the TV. This didn't mean I had forgiven him. Not by a mile. But he was my mate and we don't have a choice but to be together for the rest of our lives, so the least we could do to make itbearable was be civil. Besides,
October 14thWe were ten minutes away from the house, I was going by my nose as Leo wasn't any help on navigating at all. After the 'death' conversation there had been little talking. He kept lifting his hand and smelling it and then he would do the same to my hand- weird I know but he had an amount of alcohol that would kill me and any normal person."Will you stop that?" I said as he prodded my stomach for the 16th time.
He began to stir and a few moments later had opened his eyes."What the fuck?" he murmured as he began to sit up, picking leaves out of his hair."You passed out," I told him."I... passed out?" he questioned. "I never pass out."
October 15thThe following morning I woke up in Leo's arms. His bare chest was warm and smooth and comfortable and soft and ugh. He's just too beautiful to hate."Morning," He said in a husky voice once he realised I had woken."How long have you been awake?" I asked, rolling over to face him as he gently drew circles
In the early afternoon, we made it to the ice rink."Shoe size sir?" The young boy behind the counter asked Leo."Men's 15." He replied."Jesus, you have enormous feet," I said in astonishment.
After we had returned our skates, we took a sigh of relief. My body ached from all the falls but we both wore wide smiles on our faces as we walked towards Abi's house, chatting away.He was telling me stories about his life, mostly featuring Luca, and I was nearly in tears laughing."So we told him that for my 21st birthday we were all getting tattoos of each other's faces on our left ass cheeks. Blair was getting Luca’s; I was getting Blair's and Luca was getting mine. Then we told him we 'booked'
