We laid her on the sofa, her face was pale and motionless. The news of my father's arrest was a shock to her, while she thought he was on a business trip as usual. The minutes passed with difficulty until the ambulance arrived to take my mother to the hospital.

"Are you okay?" Larve asked the doctor

"She is now in a coma and her heartbeat is weak, she will need to stay in the hospital to monitor her," the doctor said

I was horrified when I heard the doctor's diagnosis of my mother's condition, and Larve hugged me, I couldn't bear the thought of her staying in a coma and away from us.

While Caroline sat with her head in her hands, we were sorry for not telling my mother what our father had done, it would be the least shocking for her.

"Larve, Caroline, you can go to your business, I'll stay here by her side," I said

"We'll be in touch on the phone if anything comes up," said Larve, then kissed my forehead and left

And Caroline also hugged me, "See you later," she said
