I was terrified to hear the sirens sounding inside the center, and I think they discovered that Doctor Roman had been injured and Alexei had escaped from his room.

My anger was cut short when someone surprised me by holding my arm and pulling me back with full force. My steps stumbled and I turned to see him.

They took me to my father's office, while I was thinking of justifying my behavior to him in front of his reaction, which I don't know how it would be.

I went into his office, and saw him standing at the end of the room by the big window and watching the outside through it,

"Leave now," he said, pointing with his hand to the guards without looking at us.

I was handcuffed and could not get up and felt the pain in my head. I was shocked by the cruelty of my father and this was the first time he hit me.

"Do you know how much mistake you just made, you made the fiercest and fiercest werewolf flee abroad... and he will take revenge on us all" he said.

He walked out of the office and called the guards, "You untie her and take her home. I don't want to see her here." He said

The guard helped me up and untied me, and when I was getting ready to leave I turned to my father and saw him look away from me, the guards led me out of the station and into their car, I knew this was the last time I would come here.

They drove me home, and when I walked in, Caroline was surprised by my early return. She furrowed her eyebrows as she stared at me.

"What is that bruise, Eileen? What happened?" she said

I put my hand on my cheek, tears welled up, Caroline hugged me and sat me down on the sofa, hurrying towards the kitchen and fetching me a glass of water.

"Who is that bastard who did this to you, wait until I call the police?" she said

I interrupted her, "He's our father," I said

"Today I assaulted the doctor in charge and made Alexei flee from the center, but now he thinks it was me who reported him to the authorities," I said.

Caroline's eyes widened as she looked at me, then put her hand on her head, "You did all this to yourself?"

Then she continued, "I'm afraid to say that you are involved. You should have quit working with my father, especially after you learned about his suspicious activity," she said.

I stood there, "I can't Caroline, I can't just go away and leave him there to be tortured," I said nervously.

"Who do you mean?" she asked me

I took a glass of water and drank a little of it. "Of course I'm talking about Alexei." Suddenly we heard someone forcefully open the door, that was my father, and he entered the house in a hurry.

I had a headache hitting my head because of what happened that day I wanted to go to my room and sleep "Excuse me, Caroline, I'm going to my room" I said

"Well, we'll talk about going back to New Jersey when I get back from abroad, I'm going to buy some things now. I might be a little late," she said.

I nodded to her and went up to my room. It was evening, and I took a warm bath. Then I changed my clothes to my wide shirt and lay on the bed.

I was still thinking about whether there were other people in the building, and I wondered, had they really been killed and disposed of? Alexei also did not leave my thoughts, he must have arrived home, my eyes began to grow drowsy and the moments passed, but I woke up to the sound of someone trying to push the door to my balcony.

I removed the cover from me and sat in my place feeling a little scared, one of the thieves might be trying to get into the house, I walked briskly towards the stairs and searched with trembling hands to get scissors. I gathered my courage and slowly made my way to the balcony, I pulled the curtain down a little and looked outside, and I couldn't see very well because of the darkness.
