Of course, I blushed. Who wouldn't?

"I look forward to the many kisses to come," Alpha Archer once told me.

Now...am I seeing that promise slowly coming to life?

I felt like...like I was falling into a warm dream in a cool winter summer.

He reached for my hand and kissed it. I didn't pull away, I let the heat of his kiss linger deep in my bones. I let the warmth of his presence spread through me like wildfire.

"Good night," he lifted a hand to wave at me.

I nodded. I know this is all wrong but...it was Alpha Axel who arranged us to be like this anyway. He shoved me into the arms of another Alpha. "Good night," I beamed at him.

I didn't close the door right away. I stood there for a couple of minutes, watching him walk away like parading himself on a red carpet. Even when he was already in his car, I still entertained that sweet feeling rising in my heart.
