Camilla's POV…

I don’t know how the bodyguards found out what happened at the supermarket but I warned them not to tell Lucien anything.

He has already done more than enough and I did not want him to keep worrying about me.

“Please, don’t tell him anything. They were just mad dogs barking without bite. I have already dealt with it.”

“Yes ma’am.”

It was around midday when we left the supermarket. I was glad that there was not a lot of traffic jam so we arrived home within one and a half hours. I did not have time to waste, I hurriedly took a quick shower and chased away all the cooks from the kitchen before I started making dinner. I did not want their help because I knew I could manage on my own.
