SHOCKING WORDS.

Lucious took long strides as he walked back into the room. It wasn’t long ago Dayna left and he stepped out to check on baby Axel. He had completed his talk with Elliot on the way before coming back to his mate.

His mate was still laying there, eyes closed and beads of sweat was still evident on her forehead. For a moment there, Lucious breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe Dayna was wrong. Her medicine probably worked and put his mate to sleep. He settled down besides her and his hand moved to hold hers.

As soon as their skin came in contact , Lucious felt the sparks erupting again. That warm tingling sensation was something he would never get tired of. Haven felt it too because no later had he held her, her eyes flew open surprising Lucious.

“ You’re awake?” Surprise was evident in his tone.

“ It hurts. Please make it stop.” She pleaded again. Seeing his mate plead before him broke Lucious heart. It pained him.
