Before I could react, Ivy had already marched forward to meet Zurien.

“Let me guess you are here to meet your fling” She scoffed “You know Lyra is in this mess because of you”

Zurien did not reply to her and Ivy snapped.

“Say something. You are the reason why Lyra was given a strike.

Zurien did not flinch, he did not even blink. His hands were in his pockets, as he just stared at her, he was unfazed that she was angry.

“Ivy,” I muttered weakly, but I knew she was not done with him.

“If you don’t want the match, fine” she continued, her voice rising. “Lyra doesn’t want it either, so do us all a favor and keep your stupid flings away from her”

Zurien’s jaw twitched. His eyes flickered briefly toward me, but I ignored him.

“Say something,” Ivy demanded. “Are you just….”

“Ivy,” I cut in, my voice quiet but firm.

She froze mid sentence and turned toward me.

“That’s enough,” I said, not looking at Zurien. My voice came out tired, heavier than I intended. “Let’s just go. I am done
