DIONY EMPIRE

   NEKTARIOS’ POV

Her pussy slapped against my skin, with soft moans escaping her lips as she straddled me. Her breaths were shaky as she took every inch of me in with her eyes half closed. Lost in the heat, she threw her head back, letting her hair cascade down her shoulder. In the space, she slowed down, rolling her hips in a rhythmic fashion like she was dancing to a tune in her head. The moans that followed were unrefined and shameless. Her nails dug into my skin, making little to no impact. She seems to be having more fun than I am.

I laid stiffly beneath her, barely affected by all of the movements. The only thing I chose to feed my eyes on was her full, perfect boobs that bounced with each movement. I shut my eyes tightly as her pace increased and her moans became louder. She gasped breathlessly, and I could feel her pussy muscles tightening around me, intentionally grinding against my dick speedily to get a reaction from me.

Flaring my nose with my eyes opened, I peeled her off me in one swift movement. She landed right on the edge of the bed while I held onto my dick firmly, watching the white cream ease itself out on my stomach.

Her dilated eyes cleared out at once, with sweat dripping down her chest despite the air condition on full blast. “Nek, why would you do that?” She whined in her usual whispery tone.

Refusing to accommodate her nonsense, I exited the bed and walked towards the bathroom with my hair down. I turned on the shower faucet and stood underneath it with my hands on the wall, eyes closed. I already felt her presence before she leaned into me. My wolf groaned in disapproval.

“Your majesty, why do you keep doing this to me? Am I not worthy enough to carry your child? I have known you for the major part of my life. How hard can it be to let me be the one carrying your heir? It’s not as if you can trust me.”

Using my mind, I created a psychic barrier between us, pushing her away from me. She let out a teary gasp.

“Nektarios!” She screamed furiously, showing her fangs.

I turned calmly, holding her gaze. She cowered, bowing her head, unable to withstand the pressure. “Toothless is what you will become if you ever act like that in front of me. Just because you are allowed in my chamber doesn’t mean you can act as you like. I have told you time and time again that I will only have an heir that comes from my mate. If you can no longer stick to your position of being a bedmate, I will advise you to get moving now. The next time you question me over this, I will have your tongue twisted.” I snarled, daring her to say more.

Her red pupils eased back to their brown color before she bowed slightly towards me and hurried away.

Anastasia has been warming my bed for ages. I would never have chosen her if she hadn’t seemed the most reliable amongst the few lady vampires that could have been considered to soothe my taste. Anastasia is the only one who can withstand my strength. Despite telling her the rule that binds our relationship, she constantly desires more, and I am becoming irritated by it all.

Pushing the thoughts aside, I got ready for the council meeting.

The dimly lit hall had a strong metallic aroma of blood and musky scents. The council of elders in the Diony empire is evidence of unity among the vampires and werewolves, which I rule over as a hybrid king. Tension already sat pretty on their shoulders at my entry. Despite the many years of being in the same space, they never seem at ease. I don’t expect they would be. My presence should forever put them in a place of panic. Knowing I wouldn’t hesitate to rip off the guts of anyone who attempts to play coy with me.

“Your majesty.” They chorused on their feet, bowing in respect until I was seated.

I settled into the chair with my legs crossed and eyes searching around the room. They all had their mind portals shut for fear of me reading them. It’s not like the attempt has any effect on my decision. But I do not intend to pry right now. There is a more critical issue to resolve today. A human has been found roaming the empire and seeking information.

My blood boiled at the thought of the human. Not even the idea of feasting on it excites my vampiric spirit. I would rather starve to death than have anything that has to do with a human being in my bloodstream. Watching them get humiliated and abused is a soothing sight for me. Those good-for-nothing pests do not even deserve to exist. The audacity the moron must have had to step foot into my empire has to be studied. Every human that breaths on these lands is only meant to serve as a meal to the vampires or pets and sex slaves to the werewolves. Everyone is entitled to whatever they desire to do with them. Only that this particular one infiltrated the empire as a spy, and I still can’t believe that such a ridiculous thing was allowed.

“Which bastard brought that abomination into my empire, allowing him to breathe and roam freely?!” I seethed in a dangerously low tone.

Elder Thane replied, “Elder Viktor and his daughter Carmilla.”

A deadly scoff escaped my lips. “Bring those bastards in,” I ordered, clenching my fist.

My hands itched badly to make their life a living hell. The three of them were dragged in. Viktor and his daughter looked pale. They must have been deprived of blood since they got locked up. Feeding on blood is a crucial means of a vampire’s survival. Teaching lawbreakers like them means taking a lesson from them. The human didn’t seem much affected. Of course, pests barely pale out. They have more than enough liquid in them for sustenance—unworthy beings. If I could, I would wipe each of them from the face of the earth. But my citizens will suffer, and I cannot allow that. I felt repulsed by seeing him, wishing I could snap his head, but I needed to know why one of mine betrayed me.

Elder Viktor is respected and responsible and can be counted on to carry out a task without faltering. If anyone else were going to betray the empire, I never would have imagined it to be him. But I have learned people can be pretty selfish. It's not like it would change the sentence I have planned for them all, but I like to be humorous.

“What should we do with them, Your Majesty?” Elder Orion asked.

I gave no response and rested my eyes on the criminal. “Viktor, what have you done?” I questioned in a calm tone.

His eyes were filled with sorrow as he looked up at me, clasping his weak hands together in a plea form. “Please, your majesty. You know I will never have gone against your rule. But I had to do what a parent would. My daughter has lived for over a century and has never had a mate. It wasn’t until she went to the human world that she found the one. The intention was never to go against the rule of the empire. But he fell sick, and the only cure was here in the empire.”

“So you smuggled him in?” I queried.

Viktor gulped hard, already admitting to his guilt. “I swear by Dracula, we would send him back with my daughter. I do not know why they went for a walk and got caught in the process. Please, your majesty. You can take my life. But let them go, I beg you.” He sobbed profusely.

My claws made their way out in fury. “You had the guts to let an abomination walk freely on my land. Have you gone mad?!” I raised my voice, fuming.

Everyone had their head bowed. I could smell the fear from the human. Dumb creature!

Viktor crawled on the ground to approach me, but one of the guards pulled him back. “I beg you in the name of the gods, your majesty. Take me all you want. Just let my daughter go. Banish her from the empire. Never let her show her face again. Please have mercy.”

“Mercy? You don’t deserve that, Viktor. These pests know nothing about mercy. I will not give it to them. You all will die for your crimes.” I gritted.

The whimper of the daughter and the human was getting into my ear. I cringed as it felt like tiny pins pricking me. “Silence!” I bellowed, bringing every movement to a halt.

“Your majesty.” Elder Thane interjected after a few seconds passed. “Please. We have all known Elder Viktor for centuries. He has never for once made us doubtful of him. His daughter’s lack of a mate isn’t hidden from us all. It is the joy of every parent to see their children go ahead and have a family of their own. You know how important it is to our empire. We can turn him into a vampire; in no time, he will become one of us. For the sake of Viktor’s good deeds. Please, Your Majesty.”

My eyes glazed as I stared at him. “You are telling me to break an ancient oath because of him? Is that what you all think?!” They all did their usual grunt of being in cohort to a decision. I cackled dryly. “I will only say this once if anyone tries to say something in support of Viktor one more time. Such a person will be labeled a traitor and killed at the square.” I assured.

They all went quiet after that.

Thinning my eyes, I ordered the guard. “For going against the empire's rule by bringing in a human not as a meal but as a free man, Viktor, his daughter, shall be put to death by silver-infused poison. As for the human, dismember him. I want all bodies burned to ashes afterward.”

There was evident disapproval amongst the elders, but they wouldn’t dare to go against my order. The criminals screamed and begged for their lives as they were dragged away.

Standing up, I folded my arms behind me, giving a stern warning. “If there ever happens to be an involvement of any of you with a human that doesn’t involve being used as a sex slave, pet, or a meal. Be prepared to breathe your last. I will make sure you all die the most painful death. If you don’t cherish your life, then get caught.” I seethed, striding out of the hall.

I remained seated like a statue, unblinking with my eyes glued to the window. I hear Damila’s footsteps come closer. “You have been maintaining this position for days. Your bones might start to cramp.”I scoffed, “Wouldn’t that be better? It’s not as if my life has any good use here.” “Don’t talk like that, my lady. There is always a reason to be grateful. Who would have thought I would be here serving you and not in the dark cell waiting to be snatched up as food?” She had a look in her eyes that I couldn’t quite decipher. Damila has had it since we got acquainted. She knows something I do not, but I do not intend to pry. “Damila, don’t you get it? This entire empire is a trap hole for us humans. There is nothing to be joyful about. It is a nightmare. Not too long ago, I was thinking about how to get my life together. But here I am trapped in a sou

DIONY’S EMPIRE ATARIAH’S POVI feel parched. It’s probably been hours since I have been locked in here, and no one has considered offering me a glass of water. These people are awful! It’s not like I would take any edible thing from anyone here. I was dragged away from the King beast, thinking I would join the other humans in the cell. Instead, I was tossed into a room. Something about the room they locked me in makes me cold. Even though the interior designer did their best to make it feel welcoming with the gray walls and cream-colored curtains. The dark clouds lingering in the air are enough to put me off. It just doesn’t feel humane. Then I remembered why. The only humans here are locked up for the beast's entertainment.A lone tear rolled down my face. I wiped it off angrily. A tight knot settled in my chest, making it hard for me to breathe correctly. It’s appalling that I went from being a free person to getting locked up in a day. Sheila is probably having a panic attack

DIONY EMPIRE ATARIAH’S POVMy head felt faint, and the pain that stretched through my body made me want to yell out in distress. The cold floor seeped into my skin like shards of glass. I blinked rapidly in a bid to adjust my eyes to the light. But there wasn't much lighting, just a small window spacious enough to enable a streak of the sun.Swallowing the dry spittle in my mouth, I winced at the harshness in my throat. A pungent smell hit my nose from the darkness. It took me a moment to realize I was not alone. Turning my head cautiously, I almost jumped out of my skin when someone peeked their head out of the darkness.“Oh my goodness! Who are you?” I queried at the sunken eyes staring intently at me.The other people there moved forward as if on cue, letting me know they were more than enough in the space. I was dumped close to the door, which made me unaware of other people’s presence when I woke up. I didn’t need anyone to tell me they were humans. At the thought of th
