Chapter 8

In the middle of the night.

Sophie was wide awake. She couldn't sleep. Her recent memories kept haunting her. Alpha Jones walking majestically into their house. Prina being sent out of her. Everything was tragic and daunting.

She gazed at her roommates from the top of the bunk where she was. They were all asleep. This was the perfect time to try making an escape.

It would have been easier if she had Prina. Nevertheless, she had to make use of what she had left, her training.

She got down from the bed slowly and quietly not to alert the others. She sneaked out of the quarter.

"Oh no!" she moaned and fell back inside.

Everywhere was crawling with security guards. There was no way she could get out of here without being caught.

But she had to. David had let her know how worse it could get. And she wouldn't want to experience that.

She popped her head outside to calculate the security guards movement. She could be lucky.
