Nick POV We have been driving around for a while, but Mariah still looks pissed. I wonder what Mila told her to get her to snap. “Are you okay?” I ask. “Yeah, I’m fine. I shouldn’t have let her get to me.” Mariah replies. “Do you want to talk about it?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. “Not right now; what I want is something to eat and then dessert.” She replies with a smirk. “The dessert part sounds interesting; care to tell me what kind of dessert we are talking about?” I say, and I put my hand on her thigh and squeeze it gently. “How about we get some food in me first, then we can talk about dessert?" Mariah POV Today is my 18th birthday. We are currently getting ready in one of the guest rooms. My mom is getting her hair done, Rose is getting her makeup done, and I am getting my nails done. A few hours later, we were finally done and looking gorgeous. Nick POV I get back from my run and get some shorts from the bushes. I head in and go straight to my room. I can tell Mariah is still here, but I don’t want to see her, so I rush up the stairs three at a time, and once I’m in my room, I make sure I lock my door so no one comes in. I head to the shower.
