Thank you for reading XOXO
Amelia’s POV My body jolted upright in our bed as the aroma of pancakes and freshly brewed coffee hung in the air. A smile formed on my lips as I wrapped my robe around me and headed for the kitchen. Standing in the doorway, my breath caught in my throat as I admired Nico only wearing sweatpants flipping a pancake onto a plate had my heart racing in my chest. “Good morning handsome,” I cooed as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him gently on the lips. His chuckle was deep, “Good morning, Spitfire,” as he kissed me back. He stepped back handing me a steaming cup of coffee, wiggling his brows, “tonight, I have something special planned for us, get plenty of rest.”“Special? Nico, we’ve been together forever, what could you possibly…”He cut me off with a hard swat on my ass, “we’re home now, no more traveling, no more hunting anyone else but each other.” He kissed my temple as he placed my plate in front of me, “or our pups, that in itself is special or don’t you think
Lilly’s POV Remembering Amelia and Alpha Nico’s wedding sent my heart into a tailspin afterwards. Knowing that they are mated and married had me thinking of all the what if’s that had already been spinning in my mind. What if I allowed my heart to fall in love with Russ, would it be so terrible? During our entire existence there had never been one of our species that allowed our hearts to falter to such a feeling. I needed to observe what all that entailed, the complexed emotion that my species just didn’t seem to be able to feel, this overwhelming love for a man. I’d been taught men were only for one purpose and that was only to give me a child to continue our species. My thoughts were interrupted by the loud laughter of the 2 smallest girls, Button and Rainbow as they ran past my lounge chair on the beach, “daddy catch me,” they both squealed as their chubby legs carried them from the oceans deep blue water. His baritone voice came from next to me as he fell into his chair,
Alpha Nico’s POV As we traveled in Europe, we found a small pack in the mountains of Sicily, there were about 30 altogether, safe and secure. We stayed with them and decided to leave them as is, if we had more packs we could grow in strength and populate not only in the US but Europe. Though they didn’t have a bloodline Alpha, they did have a bloodline Beta acting as the Alpha and it was working so need to fix it. The way they interacted with humans and their businesses was astonishing. They had their own village, with lovely villas overlooking the sea. They had no idea that there were others and were amazed to find out just how many we had found, but only Bryce and I were of true Alpha bloodlines. As the years continued, we found no other packs, just a few scattered werewolves. It’s been a long journey and over a century to find what we believe is all of the misplaced werewolves on the earth. We’ve gone through many RV’s and jets at this point and there isn’t one inch of t
Amelia’s POV 120After our ceremony, saying goodbye felt like torture, but Harmony assured me that all would be fine, and I promised to make it back for my sibling’s birth. I had no idea that we would travel by RV, but it was a welcome surprise. The RV was luxurious; with a king-size bed and every amenity you could think of. As I watched through the front windshield reading the sign, “Welcome to Tennessee,” I felt a strange restlessness pulling inside me. Harmony’s voice howled in my head, “there here.”My breath hitched in my throat, “Stop Nico, do you feel it?”Nodding as he pulled off the next exit, “yeah, that restlessness is stirring inside me, is that what you mean?”Pulling into a RV park, “yes, Harmony says there here, but now how do we find them?”We set up the RV and sat down drinking some water and sighing, “she needs to tell me how I’m expected to just find them, this State is huge and with so much wilderness…”He looked around, “tonight is a full moon, they’ll be out
Alpha Nico’s POVI winced as she turned looking at me and rub the back of my neck, “sorry, forgot you didn’t know, but in my defense, I’ve been a bit occupied with other tasks.” Her cheeks tinted red, and she nods, she’s adorable when she’s embarrassed, “it’s fine, how old do we get, I mean,” she looks at my parents, “you look amazingly young.”My mother smiles, “thank you, but we have at least 200 more years for the both of us.”The following few days were hectic, I spent most of my time with Alpha Bryce and my father, setting up all the accounts in his name and having business meetings online with all the investment firms. It’s all I needed to do with him, since my father will stay here until he is fully functioning and I won’t relinquish my pack until he is. I held Amelia’s hand as we walked into the human courthouse to file for a marriage license. Once that was completed, I walked with her down to the store I had bought her ring at, she smiled as we walked inside, “why are we
Amelia’s POV I blinked at him as I listened to Harmony telling him that we would not be staying here, that my father and mother would be the Alpha and Luna of our pack. His eyes were filled with so many emotions, but the loss of his pack is what hurt him the most. He’s the last Alpha, he was born and raised to guide, protect and love this pack. I closed my eyes not wanting to see the anguish this was going to cause him to lose his pack, hand it over to my father, it wasn’t right, and I don’t understand why he has too. His touch had my eyes snap open, his hands cupping my cheeks as his thumbs wiped at the tears that I hadn’t realized were falling from my own eyes. “Hey, why are you so upset, if it’s what we need to do, then it’s what our goddess wants, and I’ll follow you wherever you go.”His words hit my heart, “it’s just not fair to you, you love this pack, why should you have to give it up, leave as we hunt for others, why do we need to do it, how can we have a family if we t
