I woke up super early to the bustling of caterers and pack members organizing the dining room. I walked in to see Finn and Eric bringing in all the chairs. Eric turned to me. “Morning Paisley,” He said, giving me an excited smile, and I returned it with a slight one.
“Morning guys, have you seen my dad?” I asked, and they both pointed across the room where I spotted him talking with someone. “Thanks,” I muttered and trailed past them to my father’s side.
Eric has been like that creepy Uncle you avoided at all family functions. I think he had a thing for my mom. Since I look like her, he has a thing for me, which creeped me out a bit, but I also feel sorry for him since he never found his mate, which I could be in the same situation, so I’m sympathetic.
