A Narrow escape

Hayley sat on a rock in a close cave where the priest had made his new lair. They had settled there to watch the activities of the human slaves building the project for the priest. Every day Hayley would watch them and wonder what the priest was up to. She wondered how he even got this many slaves in the first place and what the hell where are they building?

The priest arrived at his lair to take a rest. He placed his magic staff beside him and Hayley watched carefully. He poured himself a glass of water and cleared his throat. He gazed at Hayley who was glaring at him in irritation.
