Ella paused, gazing at him. She liked Raul and hoped that he would like her too. She was amazed to see that he was rejecting her so she devised a strategy. She scoffed and got on her feet approaching him slowly.
“I’m here to help you,” she said.
“Help me?” Raul chuckled. “What are you talking about? I don’t need your help for anything.”
“Hmm… You’re rude as you’re cute.” She commented, trying to ignore his gestures, and continued. “I heard about your story and I know all about you and your lover, Hayley…”
At this, he was astonished. He turned to face her and frowned. “What do you know about her?”
“I know that she’s disappeared from the mainlands and that you two once had a thing.”
“Wait… what?” Raul cut in rudely.
“Do you deny it; that she was your lover?” she continued.
