It was 6 am and Raul was getting ready for work. He was in the kitchen, as usual, fixing himself some breakfast when Claire walked in for a glass of juice.
“Good morning.” He greeted her even though she tried to ignore him.
She eyed him and sat on the stool by the kitchen table. “I thought you were not talking to me?”
“Why wouldn’t I? whatever happens between you and Kal is none of my business.” He replied as he sat down to eat.
“Hmmm… he’s your friend, Raul. So if you’re mad, I’ll understand.” She took a sip.
“Hey!” he called out softly. “I’m serious; you’re the one getting this all wrong. I really have no business with whatever you do with my friend. You made your decision and that’s fine by me.”

The world of the originals was like heaven for Raul. He had started adapting to their way of life and almost forgot his purpose for the visit to the human world.
