Chapter 33

Matthew's POV

I followed her inside and passed the kitchen till we made it out back. They had the fire going and the smell of food was lingering in the air.

I saw Thaddeus standing at the bonfire with his back toward me. His arms was around whom I'm assuming is his mate. I still haven't met his mate yet and I'm eager to meet him.

As I approached Thaddeus he turns my way. His mate turns around as well and I freeze in my tracks as my mouth hangs open.

I watch as he looks at me cautiously as recognition shows on his face.

I watch as he shakes it off and collects himself before stepping forward toward me. Thaddeus takes notice and walked to his side, wrapping his arm around him.

"Alpha matthew, I don't think I've introduced my mate to you. This is my mate Aiden. 

"Aiden!"  I say as I quickly reach out and take his hand that he had not even extended yet. I hold it in both of mine. "Oh my goddess I'm so glad to see you're o
