I rubbed my chin and looked at Ryan. I knew it was what we should do, but there was just such a stupid stigma to it.
How could we be true mates to our girl, our wife and Luna if we weren’t all in? Didn’t we have to commit … to each other too?
*Mom we need a bit more time,* I said, mind-linking her.
I had already told her a minute ago that I was finally mated, I couldn’t wait. It was my absolute dream come true. She was surprised, she thought we would hold off, given the circumstances of the evening.
*We’re just putting dinner out, it’s fine. Everyone wants to eat first,* she said, in the calm way she always speaks.
