Chapter Fifteen

He exhaled and shook his head in disappointment as he saw his son on the floor who seemed to have fallen backwards from his chair in front of his computer.

“Dylan what….”he exhaled excruciatingly again “what in the Jesus Christ are you doing lying around on the floor boy?” he placed his hand on his duty belt as he watched Dylan struggle to get off the floor.

“Dad, listen to me I’ve been trying to pinpoint the murders happening for the past few months and I think I might have a theory” he rushed towards his clue board where he taped a lot of pictures attached to a red string

“Look at these murders dad, how come they only happen to teenagers? What if-what if this is some sort of sacrifice” he added in an enthusiastic yet trying to be persuasive tone

“Sacrifice?” Sheriff Hardin repeated mockingly as he changed his position, with his hands now folded together

“What makes you think you can crack this case? The whole police department couldn’t find shit that would lead us to anything
