Chapter One hundred and nineteen

“Harley we didn’t say we wouldn’t help her, I simply told her to give us tonight off and we would find help in the morning” Roman defended

“What if it’s too late by then? And whatever it is had taken over her completely. Then what?” Harley shrugged casually as she stared intently at Roman, hoping he had some come back but he didn’t.

“That’s what I thought” she mouthed and walked away.

“Women are getting less easy to talk to” Lucas scoffed

“I’ll go after her” Roman said and walked out of the field

“We can’t just have normal people problems, can we?” Lucas exhaled

The town was suddenly different than it was before, it was like the town was lighter and like this veil was lifted off the town. They could even say that the sun shone brighter or differently.
