Chapter 7

ALPHA RYAN'S POV

I stepped out of my car and started making my way to the council Chief house, with my guards walking behind me. He had requested to see me for a while now, so I just had to come over today.

Just then, a little boy stopped in front of me, hiding in my clothes, his big, fearful eyes searching for refuge. "Help me, sir, please. These kids are trying to bully me," he said with his tiny voice.

My protective instincts kicked in, and I quickly turned towards the direction he was pointing, my gaze narrowing, as I stared at the kids.

"You all should get away from here right now," I barked, my deep voice commanding authority.

The kids frightened didn't think twice before running away, leaving me with the little boy, whose small hand was still wrapped around me, holding tight, who still looks scared.

"They're gone now, you can let go now," I told him gently, trying to reassure him, but he clung tighter, his eyes welling up with tears.

"Thank you so much, sir," he mouth
