Chapter 58: The Alpha King Arrives

“It’s time to wake up Tae.” The soft voice of Ryker pulled me from my sleep.

I was laying with my back against Ryker, his arms were wrapped around me, as he gently caressed my arm with his thumb. His lips were pressed against the side of my temple as he whispered. I didn’t want to get up or move.

It was different waking up in Ryker’s arms. I wanted to savor every second of it, for I didn’t know when we would sleep together like this. The moment I open my eyes, I knew that reality would set in, and it would be time to get back to what we were supposed to do.

“We can’t lay here all night.” Ryker whispered in my ear once more.

“I know.” I groaned.

Rolling onto my back, I looked up at him as he propped himself over me. He looked as if he had just woken up as well. I could still see the sleepiness in his eyes. His hair was messed up from his sleeping, but it only made him appear more attractive.
