Chapter 60: Pregnant?

I had fallen asleep before Ryker came in, which meant I never had a chance to tell him how I felt. It was for the best though, considering I felt like hell right now. My entire body ached, and I was quite sure that I was going to end up throwing up any second.

Ryker woke me up when he crawled into bed, although he didn’t do it intentionally. I didn’t want him to figure out I wasn’t feeling good, so I pretended to be asleep. In the end, I fell back asleep relatively fast.

Now he was waking me up again, except this time he was trying to get me to get up. With the way I was feeling now, I knew I was going to need to tell him I wasn’t feeling good. Hopefully, he didn’t look too deep into it because I didn’t want him asking what was wrong when I didn’t know myself.
