Dominic:

The room was finally quiet.

The chaos…the screams…the blood…the fear… her pain…

All of it had faded into a warm, fragile silence broken only by the soft breaths of the woman asleep beside me and the small, delicate sounds of the child in my arms.

Our daughter.

Small. Warm. Red-cheeked. Wrapped snugly in the cloth the midwife handed me before she left.

I traced the back of one tiny hand with the tip of my finger. It curled around it, instinctively gripping, impossibly small yet strong, and something inside me simply…broke.

And rebuilt itself in the same moment. “You’re very beautiful, my little wolf. And I promise that I am going to protect you with everything that I have.”

My voice was above a whisper as I spoke, knowing not to disturb my beauty.

“She looks like her mother,” a gentle voice murmured. “One can already tell that she is going to share her stubbornness given the way she came into the world.”

I looked up to see Aria’s mother standing near the foot of the bed, her e

So, we are had a daughter, hehe... I want to also ask, the book is going to be completed (book 1), and sequel (book 2), is going to be added. Now, the question is, do you prefer them being one big book? Or breaking it into different books would be a better option? Because I noticed with my longer books (300 chapters and more), readers asked for wrap up for the book being too long. What do you think? (Book 1 is around 10 chapters to completion).

I feel a natural end coming with this birth...and hopefully the demise of Katherine and hopefully the den of whores. I'd vote Sequel.

I like sequels, but I don’t mind long books either. I’m not hard to please, so it’s up to you author! We’ll take it, however you write it! :)

Aria:Lyra slept in my arms, small, warm, impossibly perfect.I couldn’t stop staring at her, memorizing the delicate rise of her chest, the tiny curl of her fingers, the little furrow that appeared between her brows every time she dreamed. The world felt quieter with her against me. Softer. Even the ache in my body faded beneath the weight of my happiness.Dominic sat beside me, his hand resting gently on Lyra’s back, his thumb stroking her in slow circles. His touch was tender, careful, almost reverent.“I don’t think I’ve ever been this proud,” he whispered.“Even after you’ve just seen me struggle to try and feed her?” I asked, and he laughed.“Especially when I saw you feeding her.”My cheeks warmed, and for a moment, nothing existed outside this room. Then the elders entered. The warmth thinned.Elder Helena, the one with the sharp eyes that never softened, observed us for a long moment. Her expression was unreadable, but I felt the flicker of irritation beneath it. Not directed

Aria:The first thing I felt when I opened my eyes was the ache.Deep. Exhausting. Every muscle in my body throbbed with the faint echo of the battle it fought through the night. The second thing I felt…Panic. My eyes snapped open, searching, desperate, heart racing so violently it hurt as I tried to sit up.“Easy.” Dominic’s voice was soft, lower than I’d ever heard it. A warm hand slid over my arm, grounding me back into my own skin.“Our baby…?” I asked, shaking my head. “Where is…?”“She’s fine,” he murmured. “She’s right here, sleeping. I put her in her bassinet. I didn’t move from your side, baby. I wasn’t going to let anyone harm either one of you.”My breath escaped me in a shudder as I turned, following the subtle tilt of his head. There, in a small cradle beside the bed, lay our daughter. Tiny. Wrapped in white. Her chest rising in soft, steady breaths.A wave of relief nearly brought tears to my eyes. “She is so small.”“Yes, she is.” He said, making my heart swell.Domini

Aria:Pain.Real, consuming pain, nothing like the training aches, nothing like the wounds of battle, nothing like the torment of fear or heartbreak. This pain was primal.Relentless.Crushing.My old room in the consort hall spun around me. The sheets were soaked. My knees trembled. Sweat coated my face as another contraction ripped through me, stealing my breath, tearing a broken cry from my throat.“Aria, breathe… breathe, sweetheart. You’re doing so well.” My mother’s voice, steady, calm, even though I could hear the panic trembling beneath her words. She held my hand, rubbing circles on my arm, guiding me through each wave. “I just need you to breathe, my beautiful wolf.”“Mama… please…” I gasped, tears blurring my vision. “I… I need Dominic. Please… where is Dominic, please…?”“He’s coming,” she whispered, brushing hair from my face. “He’s coming, baby. Just focus on breathing. He is going to be right here next to you. I just need you to breathe.”But I couldn’t.The pain slamme

Katherine:I had been avoiding her.Avoiding them.Dominic’s words still echoed sometimes… the coldness of them, the finality. Yet here I was, still Luna by title, still dressed in silk and jewels, still walking the halls because the elders had insisted, because protocol demanded it, because the council wanted to see how things unfolded. And because they managed to keep in me place after I was injured.Flashback:“She is going to stay until she has healed.” Dominic said, not bothering to look at me.“She still is your Luna, Alpha Dominic. And now, more than ever, she is going to need your protection.” Elder Lucas said, looking at Dominic. “Leaving her to go out after she has healed… it is going to make her an easy target.”Dominic wanted to respond, he wanted to say something… but to my surprise. He said nothing. “You are going to be taken care of, Luna Katherine.” Elder Lucas said, not looking at me. “So as long as you remember your place, and remember not to cross boundaries that y

  • Alpha Salvatore   Chapter 131

Aria:The balcony was washed in late-morning sunlight, warm against my skin despite the cool air. My mother sat beside me on the cushioned bench, my little brother asleep in her arms, his tiny breaths soft as feathers. For a long while, neither of us spoke. I just… watched him. Watched the little rise and fall of his chest. Watched the peacefulness on her face as she held him.“I can’t believe that you are here.” It felt unreal, having her here. After everything. “I thought that I would never see you again. When I left that day, when they gave me the rules of no family… I thought that I wouldn’t see you again.”“Now, now, I am here by your side. You don’t need to think about anything that happened in the past.” She said, looking at the field ahead of us.When she finally turned her eyes to me, they were soft. “Aria,” she murmured, brushing a stray curl from my face the way she used to. “You’re going to be alright. You and this little one.” Her gaze dropped to my stomach, and she smile
