Chapter 89

Savage,

I gasped as I opened my eyes and touched my heart, breathing harshly.

I have never felt such pain in my life. It felt like there is fire running through my veins branding me and even though I can feel it, I can’t do anything to stop it except cough up black blood.

I looked around me, feeling confused and disoriented, looking for Tamara or anyone who helped me to open my eyes again.

But there was no one I was alone sleeping on a couch in my office and it was empty. I opened my mouth to call for my mate.

But nothing came out except for some gurgles and coughs. I looked at my hand that was holding my chest, then touched my mouth and found nothing. There is no blood!

And I blinked at it in confusion. Was I sleeping for long that they cleaned me meanwhile? But why am I in my office and not in my room on the third floor? And why am I still in my clothes from that fight?

I shook my head to clear it from all the thoughts and doubts, then I walked on shaky legs to the door and opened i
