The maid had just finished cleaning the room as I dressed in formal clothes to head to the office. I needed to discuss with my team how to handle the situation that was turning against me in the media and on social media, and I also needed to find a new project for myself.

Unfortunately, news had already reached the other producers that Christian had backed out on me, and they had boycotted me.

Dragging myself to the office after so much turmoil running through me and my sickness getting the better of me, Janice had booked the appointment back with Dr. Rudolf.

The team's spirits seemed low beneath their straight faces, much like the fake expression I had pulled up on my face. Janice started the meeting, and the PR team made excuses to cover up my tainted reputation. However, their ideas fail if we put such baseless arguments into the news. It wouldn't work well for me.
