“Get this place signed over to Miranda” I ordered, and I heard a gasp escape his lips.

Carl was surprised at my request and honestly, so was I, it seemed like I didn't even know what I was doing too.

He had always known my resentments towards Miranda.

I laughed at how stupid I was beginning to sound, not only him, but everybody knew how much I hated Miranda.

I was doing this not because I wanted to taunt her, but knew how much she valued this place, after all, I had caused her so much pain, maybe this place would calm her down.

This was the least I could do for her after the three years of pain I caused her.

Not only have I caused her pain, but I have also made her lose out on so many years of her life.
