Ezekiel stood there, staring at the door she had disappeared, not moving until there was a light knock on the door. His wolf-sense picked up the scent of his Gamma and best friend.

He sighed and moved to the door, opening it.

Hunter gave him a grin. Finally, he wouldn’t have to deal with a restless and easily irritable Alpha anymore.

“Let her freshen up.” Ezekiel said. “I need to fix up some food for her. Selene has gone out.”

“She is downstairs, cooking up all of Noelle’s favorites. She came back as soon as she heard the announcement.” Hunter informed him as they walked down the stairs.

“And the doc?”

“She is busy at the hospital. She said she will be here as soon as she is done with her work.”
